Mobile Content Deals: Greenpeace Ringtone, Comics, Game Deals

The animation series Gonzo has gone mobile in Japan after Japanese media company GDH signed a national distribution agreement with MovieFull, an online video distribution service exclusively for mobile phones. It will now distribute “episodes of action cartoons Pumpkin Scissors, Speedgrapher and SoltyRei, with seven more titles to be added by the end of January 2007″.
Jump Games has signed a deal with Virgin Comics to convert its Shakti series characters into mobile games. “The first products to be launched by Jump Games include action and role-playing games based on three Virgin Comics hit titles. The first game scheduled for release is Devi, featuring the Indian female superhero created by acclaimed filmmaker and Virgin Comics co-founder, Shekhar Kapur.”
Artificial Life has signed a deal with TeliaSonera to release its lates games (V-boy and V-Penguins) on the operators portal SurfPort in Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden. Also other products like wallpapers, screensavers, ring-tones and video mails.
Tag Games has signed a deal with Indiagames to distribute Tag’s games across India. In a similar vein, Vegas Wireless Entertainment has signed a deal with WirelessStudios to distribute the formers games (initially You’re the King Blackjack and You’re the King Roulette) directly to operators and portals in the UK, Italy and Canada and via third parties throughout the rest of Europe and Asia.
