Broadband Content Bits: CBS Innertube; CTV-WB; Fox Reality-iTunes; ReelTime

CBS Innertube Video Deal: CBS is drafting TV talent for its broadband channel, Innertube, signing Michael Cera of “Arrested Development” to do a scripted shortform series.
The deal marks the first of its kind for talent agency Paradigm, which has launched a new-media division under former Yahoo! Inc. exec Joel Wright.
CTV deal with WB to stream shows: Canadians will be able to watch “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” “The OC” and “Smith” online, after the CTV’s online division did a deal with Warner Bros. Intl. TV for broadband rights for the shows. It’s the first such deal between a Canadian broadcaster and a U.S. studio.
Big Brother auditions go online: In UK, Channel 4 is relaunching E4.com as a standalone social networking website where users can audition online for next year’s Big Brother.
Sky revamps broadband content offer: Sky is rebranding its on-demand service Sky by Broadband and making pay-per-view movies and Sky One shows available through it for the first time from tomorrow. The service, which earlier this year was suspended due to a security scare over the Microsoft digital rights management software in which it relies, has been reborn as Sky Anytime.
Fox Reality uploads to iTunes: Fox Reality has partnered with Apple to deliver the first episode of all of its upcoming original series to iTunes — for free — one week prior to their premieres. First up will be the premiere of its show “My Bare Lady.”
Microsoft points way to Xbox TV shows: Microsoft has unveiled pricing for TV shows from the likes of CBS, MTV, Paramount, Turner and Warner Bros, which it’s making available for download via its Xbox 360 video games console…at the cheapest, episodes cost US$2 compared with US$1.99 charged by Apple for videos on its iTunes online store.
Universal launches legal movie download service in Australia: Universal Pictures Australia and ReelTime Media have launched the major movie download-to-own service that includes secure burn technology.
