NeuStar, which provides clearinghouse services to the communications industry, has acquired Followap, a U.K.-based mobile IM provider, for about $139 million in cash. NeuStar expects Followap to contribute more than $25 million to overall revenue in 2007, and for that to more than double in 2008.
