HLL Targets High End Users Online; How Much Money Spent On Marketing Branded Portals?

Rahul Welde, GM, Media Services, HLL tells exchange4media that HLL is using the internet for primarily marketing high-end brands. Lower end brands like Wheel will only be considered once Internet penetration in rural India increases. By how much have spends on the Internet increased for HLL? By three or four times – on developing portals and Internet advertising.
I tried the clinic all clear website that Welde mentions, and created a movie – if one can call it that. I don’t think the movie making flash tool would have been used if there wasn’t a contest attached. How visible are these branded sites and how much is being spent on marketing them?
