Eisner In India: Infinite Choices Lead To Infinite Frustration

Last week it was Steve Ballmer making a splash in India. This week, former Disney CEO Michael Eisner made the trek. Eisner, who now does a talk show for CNBC and has been investing in new ventures, took on a variety of topics at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit — including new media. The gist: The Internet has made the democratization of entertainment possible, and creativity is the only thing that matters now. It is also a case of pure anarchy, but infinite choices will lead to infinite frustration. What is needed is now is human filters to micromanage creativity, and sites run by these human filters can be counted on for choosing the right creative content for people to access.
