The rollup strategy of mobile marketing firm NeoMedia is slowly, well, unraveling: it has sold back recently acquired Sponge, based in the U.K., back to its founders. The company has now decided to focus its resources on mobile marketing opportunities for its “qode” product platform.
Even with the sale back, NeoMedia retains a 7.5% interest in the London-based company which develops and implements mobile marketing campaigns, mobile applications and delivers content for U.K. and international customers.
