Mercora has announced some distribution agreements with Handango, MobiHand, Mobile & Wireless Group, and Motricity for its Mercora M service announced in September, which lets people stream content from their PCs to their phones, as well as internet radio channels. The application works on Smartphones and PocketPC users, and will appear (among other places) on the mobile storefronts of carriers Alltel, Cingular, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. I assume the carriers are happy with that because the application is so data-heavy. There’s also a new subscription model, $14.99 for three months. There’s also one-month and one-year options.
