Analysts J’son&Partners has predicted the Russian mobile marketing market will amount to US$15 million in 2006, and grow about 30% in 2007. Over 60% of the mobile marketing campaigns in 2006 were short term efforts such as lotteries, but some long-term efforts are underway. “The top-used services and technologies for mobile marketing were interactive campaigns, branded mobile content, Short Message Service (SMS) and WAP, the consultancy said.”
