After its deal with China Mobile News Corp chairman Rupert Murdoch has indicated a desire to do a similar deal with Australian incumbent, Telstra. That’s not really surprising, considering that if you have a mobile content service you want it on the biggest carriers in each country, at the very least. However, it seems the two companies are already in talks, according to News Ltd chief executive John Hartigan. “We are exploring it, we have a terrific relationship with Telstra and I’m very confident that we will be able to do something quite soon,” he said.
