Industry Moves: Bradford New MSN Head; FoxNews.com New VP; Potts Leaves Backfence;

— This one isn’t much of a surprise: Joanne Bradford, the top ad-sales and marketing executive at parent Microsoft, has been moved over to run MSN — she moves from corporate VP-global sales and marketing and chief media-revenue officer at Microsoft to heading MSN. John Nicole, the general manager of MSN.com, is reporting into Bradford.
— Ken LaCorte has been named VP and senior executive producer of FoxNews.com from his previous position of director of news editorial for the cable network. In his new role, LaCorte will oversee all editorial content and design function of the website, while Foxnews.com GM Bert Solivan will continue to manage its business operations and maintain a working relationship with Fox Interactive Media.
— Mark Potts, co-founder of Backfence.com, has left the grassroots journalism company. He remains a shareholder and board member but tells me he has returned to strategic and product development consulting. He’s also launched a blog.
