Internet Ad Revenues Passed $4 Billion In Q306: Report

Internet advertising revenues cracked the $4 billion mark in the third quarter, according to the IAB and PricewaterhouseCooper LLP. Revenue for the quarter hit $4.2 billion, up 33 percent over $3.1 billion in the same quarter last year but only up 2 percent sequentially. This marks the eighth consecutive quarter of growth and the largest single quarter ever for internet advertising.
