Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) India has launched Hoover’s in India. Hoover’s, a subsidiary of D&B, is a website that sells company and industry reports, and market intelligence. It provides editorial features, searching, downloading and report-building tools.
The company already has some 100 customers from India, but with the India launch, they plan to increase the India subscriber base, and also do the local billing.
They are seeing India as a lucrative market with more local companies making acquisitions of US-based firms and opening branches outside India. Its subscription rates start from $4,500 a year for a minimum of 10 users. [Via ZDNet.com and The Hindu]
