DotComedy goes live: NBCU’s entry in the crowded online comedy field is live and plans call for daily updates. The broadband channel will focus on its own original web-exclusive material but it also has a tremendous late-night library from NBC — David Letterman’s first decade, SNL, Leno, O’Brien. NBC Universal is contributing exclusive rights to HBO original “Dream On” and from the way-back machine, “Leave it to Beaver,” “The Munsters,” “Coach.” Then there’s stand-up, viral video and room for user-gen comedy. iVillage Live: NBU’s first big effort at broadcast-online synergy with recent acquisition iVillage debuts at noon eastern Dec. 4 is being billed as the first interactive talk show (gather they missed CNN’s TalkBack Live). “iVillage Live” will be available simultaneously on TV, online and in front of a studio audience at Universal Orlando Resort. Actually, it will be live everywhere but the west coast, where it will repeat at noon pacific. Release with lots of details.

NBCU Digital Studios-MSN: MSN has the exclusive on NBCU’s new digital lifestyle series “A Big Life With Sissy Biggers.” Nintendo will run video ads for Wii during the show’ 13-week run. The usual web support. Release.

— NBC-ITVN Deal: NBCU will make some movies and TV shows available on demand at Interactive Television Networks’ ITVN website. About 130 movies including “Miami Vice,” “American Pie” and “Meet the Parents” and shows such as “Jerry Springer” and “Blind Date” will be available for purchase on ITVN.
