Google Launches Hindi Version Of Its Toolbar For IE

The Google toolbar for IE has gone local: CIOL reports that Google has launched a Hindi version of its toolbar for IE. [via Alootechie] The toolbar is now available in 40 languages, including Arabic, and seems to be a part of Google’s effort to reach out to a larger, local audience. I don’t use IE, but still installed the toolbar to try it out: seems I need to install a font [screencap], but for someone who doesn’t know this – won’t be easy figuring it out for himself. What do I think is the need of the hour? an Indic language browser…and above that – a Indic language desktop.
