Cellular News: Verisign-owned Jamba/Jamster has signed a deal with Latin American ISP Terra to distribute mobile content throughout the region. “Users with any mobile operator will be able to download ringtones, images, wallpaper and games from Terra’s web page or through an SMS message.”
Terra has business pretty much all over the Americas, but the article specifies that content will be available in Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Panama and Guatemala. As far as I’m aware this is Jamba’s first move into Latin America.
