Got the empty battery blues on your mobile device? Turn that frown upside down and get some sun with Sanyo’s N-SC1S Eneloop Solar Charger. The speaker-looking device uses sunlight to recharge devices through a USB port. The N-SC1S hits Japan later this month for about $170, but I’m hoping Sanyo realizes we have sunlight over here too. Then again, we might want to wait for the N-SC2S: this model will need a while to recharge even a small cellular battery. Hmm…maybe this is useful for charging a "rainy day" backup battery?
