This great RSS Pumpkin picture over at Hil’s OPML blog (thanks Dave Winer!) reminded me two things: first, have a safe and Happy Halloween if you celebrate. Second, you can subscribe to jkOTR in your favorite RSS aggregator with this link. We decided if we run out of goodies for the kids, we’ll start handing out all of the little 32- and 64-MB USB flash drives I’ve collected over the year, so stop on by! Some words of caution for your trick-or-treat bags; feel free to add your own in the comments.
1. If you get any small storage devices, always check the wrapper and scan for viruses.
2. Any handouts of Sony notebook batteries should promptly be discarded.
3. If you see a house using LED spotlights, definitely stop as they’re clearly "techies" and might give out cool gear.
4. Don’t eat any electronics you receive; they’re bad for your teeth.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN and be safe! ;)
