Exchange4Media has some details what AOL is planning to launch in India. The site URL is, as you guessed, AOL.in. Obviously, it’s not up yet. The launch is reportedly expected on November 15, or as this report says in 45 days’ time. But what are going to be the offerings? It’s essentially broadband content. There will be mail, messenger and blogging services, besides rich media content, online radio and online television services, the report says quoting official sources.
Besides Manish Dhir, who is the Senior VP and Country Head of AOL in India, the company has hired Deepak Karambelkar, former Content Head of Yahoo! India, Aditya Kuber, who relaunched Yahoo! India
