UPDATE: I’ve spoken with Frank Chindamo, president of Fun Little Movies, and he told me that he had only referred to Fun Little Movie’s location on the deck, and hadn’t made any reference to revenue. He was asked the question: “Where is Fun Little Movies in the hierarchy of Sprint’s channels?” and Chindamo replied: “We’re a small company, so we’re more on the “lowerarchy” rather than the hierarchy, but we’re thankful that we are anywhere on Sprint’s deck.”
Frank Chindamo, president of Fun Little Movies, has said the company isn’t making as much money from its revenue share of its service on Sprint than he had expected. “Surprisingly, it hasn’t taken off as well as we expected in the U.S.” One of the reasons for the lower-than-expected usage could be portal positioning. “We are on the “lowerarchy” rather than the hierarchy,” he said.
I’m not sure where he said this or who to, but kudos for honesty. I’m tired of people saying their service is going well when they’ve got three customers…
