Malaysia-based mobile applications services provider Nextnation Communications plans to enter India in the next six months via a joint venture. The company CEO and managing director Tey Por Yee said that they would finalise a partner within six months.
Nextnation would focus on its core business of providing application services in India which is similar to its operations in China, where it has nationwide connectivity with most major mobile operators. In China, Nextnation had entered into a JV with a capital injection of about RM10 million into their partner. In India too, they expect to make a similar investment. [Via The Edge Daily]
