Imagine trying to move 17,000 pieces of furniture into a new house, all at the same time. And of course, you want none of them to break, and bring along the ecosystem that they had built and thrived around in the old house. It was a piece of furniture that broke my right hand finger three weeks ago, and today that digital furniture broke the new house, in more ways than one. If I were listening to a song today, it would have sounded like this.
To cut a long and an absolutely harrowing tale for the last three to four days, we are moving back to the old design…. and the old host, until we make sure that we have everything aligned the way we want to make it work. The design versus data vs hosting disconnect became very real for us today, and I’m not sure we could have done anything unless we went through it. Hopefully we learned a lot of lessons.
At the end of the day, it all comes out right here. Thanks for all your patience, support and readership. We will let you know of the new launch date in few days. — Rafat Ali, publisher & editor
P.S.: I am in London this week, and then on my way to Monaco on Thursday and will be back on the weekend. We are all set for our London mixer on Wednesday evening… see you all there. We will also be announcing our EcoSM conference date and venue later this week as well.
