Manager, Onine Ad Sales

This is an amazing opportunity for an ambitious person to work with the dynamic management team of a trailblazing online entertainment company to lead online ad sales and sponsorship initiatives for compelling new interactive experiences to mass consumer audiences. The Manager, Online Ad Sales position will help set the sales strategy and guide the implementation of advertising. He/she will work closely with our senior management team to sell sponsorships across FanLib’s slate of websites. The successful applicant will be hard working, thrive in a rapidly changing environment and possess a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and the highest level of integrity. This is a commissioned sales position with a base salary, benefits, and opportunity for strong personal, professional and financial growth.

Responsibilities include:
* Enhance revenue through direct sales to national advertisers and advertising agencies
* Develop and manage relationships with new sponsors to increase volume and retention
* Interface with product team to enhance product offerings based on advertising opportunities.

Qualifications:
* 1 – 3 years online ad sales experience – entertainment site and industry experience a plus
* The ideal candidate must have the ability to create and close end-to-end sales opportunities by prospecting new leads, generating sales correspondence, proposals, sales calls, and completing sales.
* Proven experience selling multi-faceted online sponsorships
* Willing to travel – up to 25%
* Ability to cultivate new business with large companies
* Strong oral & written communication skills
* Flexibility – ability to work in an unstructured, start-up, fast-paced, high-growth environment
