SaharaOne has inked a deal with Globosat Entertainment for distribution of content from SaharaOne and movie channel Filmy in the expatriate markets, reports Business Standard. Globosat Entertainment is New York based and has distribution partnerships across DTH, cable, broadband, IPTV and mobile across North and South America, Europe and the UK. Indiantelevision.com adds that GloboSat is talking US based mobile company Ithentic for carrying the Sahara channels. The channels will also be on expat market focused JumpTV. The Hindu reports that Globosat has 75-76,000 DTH subscribers and expects to hit 85000 by the end of this month.
SaharaOne Media & Entertainment had earlier been in the news regarding a deal with Viacom which was later denied by Viacom.
