Softbank has teamed up with Japanese mobile internet software developer Access Co to develop internet browsing and e-mail software for mobile phones, which Softbank will include on its mobile handsets from as early as Oct 7. Considering the glut of mobile browsers I’m not sure why they did this. It could be that the software is just a lot better, or that it is better suited to the Japanese web.
