Saturday Night Live is looking for a talented (and funny!) Web Producer to handle content creation, project management, and ongoing site support/maintenance for the web’s premiere SNL destination. If you have what it takes to become a part of TV’s most legendary late-night comedy show, we’d love to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Monitor traffic reports, and work with community manager to help maintain and grow site traffic
-Drive new product development from brainstorming through post-launch
-Maintain production schedule of internal and external site promotions, produce related content
-Write and edit new site content including newsletters, invitations, articles and other components as necessary
-Update site content using internal content management system
-Coordinate cross-team projects
-Perform hands-on day-to-day site production tasks including html, Photoshop and video production
-Maintain strong understanding of site architecture
-Create detailed wireframes
-Write site copy as necessary
-Review content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage.
-Maintain consistency of tone and voice, in accordance with the SNL style
-Guide content through all production phases (creation, review, publication, etc.)
-Formalize a process for entering content into the content management system and tagging it with identifiers and expiration dates
-Publish fresh content to live site and remove dated content
QUALIFICATIONS:
-3 years editorial or production experience in a content-rich online environment
-Bachelor’s degree
DESIRED:
-Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
-Strong editing, writing, and proofreading skills
-Familiarity with online content development process
-Fluency in all MS Office programs, especially Word and Excel
-Experience with content management systems and HTML
-Experience with Photoshop & Flash
-Experience with Final Cut Pro
