We had reported this on September 16. The newspaper rivals Hindustan Times and The Times of India have joined hands to start a new daily morning English newspaper. The two newspaper groups have signed an MoU to form a 50:50 joint venture, which will publish a newspaper targeted at the younger audience. The JV will be an independent venture.
