Pulse360, a Seevast Company: Media Buyer/Director, Business Development

Position Purpose:
The Director, Business Development will be responsible for securing partners for Pulse360’s network.
Essential Functions:
Prospect, qualify, negotiate and close deals in an aggressive time-frame.
Develop and track comprehensive sales strategies across multiple channels.
Review and report performance against goals on a weekly basis.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: Four-Year Degree required.
Required Knowledge:
Exhibits a high level of drive, discipline, organization and attention to detail.
Has a fascination and curiosity for ‘what’s next’ in online media.
Experience Required:
Has 3-5 years of online business development or online sales experience.
Has at least 2 years of verifiable online media buying experience.
Has experience in sponsored links and/or other forms of online media.
Has experience in Affiliate marketing/sales.
Prior exposure working for an Online Ad Network is a plus.
Skills:
Demonstrates excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Is proficient in both MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Possesses strong analytical skills and a facility for working through complex deal structures and financial models with multiple variables.
Is a creative and strategic thinker with the ability to assess and implement ideas.
Has a comfort level working in a small, growing, fast-paced start-up environment.
Is able to work independently, but within a team environment.
Working Conditions:
20% travel required.
