Mike Yuen, Senior Director Gaming Group at Qualcomm, has written an editorial about where he sees the mobile game market heading… it’s worth a read if you’re in the industry or interested in it. Mike is refreshing in that he doesn’t think mobile gaming starts and stops in Europe, the US and Japan — in fact, there’s a solid argument that mobile gaming will be more successful in countries where the industry doesn’t face a lot of competition from consoles and home computers. His view is also interesting because it looks beyond the next quarter or next year.
