Indian Magazine Publishers Launch Website To Push Their Case

While none of the magazine publishers has a website worth talking about in India, the trade body of magazine publishers has launched a website for promoting the trade. The Association of Indian Magazines (AIM), formed in February 2003 to promote the magazine industry in India, has launched its website – www.aim.org.in.
The association has 32 magazine publishers as members with over 110 publications. The body provides a forum for Indian magazine publishers to represent the interests of magazines and periodicals with consumers, advertisers, advertising agencies, government and research organisations.
I they all should think about a digital strategy to stay relevant. BusinessWeek has one of the robust websites despite being a weekly magazine. Their blogs are also some of the most read blogs in business. Forbes.com is said to be on their way to make more money from their website than from the magazine.
