Scripps CEO: Internet Revenue Totals 13 Percent

E.W. Scripps already gets 13 percent of its revenue from the internet and CEO Ken Lowe told a a university audience he expects that amount to rise as advertisers accept the effectiveness of online advertising. “Right now, eyeballs are shifting faster than dollars,” Lowe said, as reported by the Cincinnati Enquirer. The company’s shopping sites Shopzilla and uSwitch are “a highly efficient model that gets closer to that Holy Grail advertisers are seeking.”
