BBC’s On-Demand Services Up For Approval

The second-half of the review of the BBC’s proposed on-demand services begins today with the start of regulator Ofcom’s “market impact assessment”.
To recap: The BBC is funded by a license fee funded by the UK public. All new services now have to be approved by a public value test to weigh the value of the service against any negative market impact.
