Google Video is considering ways to partner with sites like local TV stations to power video uploads, according to Lost Remote’s Steve Safran. That tidbit came from Daniel Blackman, strategic partner development manager for Google, during the Business Modeling the Internet seminar. He said the site could use an easy user-gen video upload tool powered by Google; in exchange, Google would benefit from indexing and search. One indexing issue: sparse metadata.
