Vivendi Games is accelerating its mobile strategy with the acqusition of mobile casual game developer Centerscore. Cindy Cook, chief strategy and marketing officer for Vivendi Games, describes the move “as another step in our plan to be among the top mobile publishers in the industry.”
CEO Oliver Miao, who co-founded the company in 2000 with three four Stanford University friends, stays on in that role, reporting to Paul Maglione, president of Vivendi Games Mobile. Maglione said Vivendi was most impressed with the company’s ability to execute creation and distribution under one roof. No terms were disclosed. The Vivendi Mobile Games was formed last March.
