Two new NBC shows produced by Warner Bros. Television will premiere commercial free on on AOL a week before their on-air debut. “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” and “Twenty Good Years” go online Monday at 3 p.m. eastern. AOL, which recently revamped and expanded its own TV offerings, is also hyping a fall preview package that covers all 82 primetime shows. For AOL and Warner, it’s another example of two Time Warner companies cooperating. For NBC, which needs hits that don’t involve pigskin, it’s the extension of an aggressive campaign that included sending preview DVDs of “Studio 60″ and “Kidnapped” to interested Netflix subscribers.
