Bluestreak Network, a Montreal, Canada-based developer of the MachBlue platform for mobile phones and digital TV, has received $8 million in third round of funding. The round was led by Solidarity Fund QFL, BDC Venture Capital, and First Capital Group. Proceeds will be used to expand development of MachBlue platform and to increase sales and engineering efforts in Europe and Asia.
Bluestreak and Orange France have been involved in DVB-H/3G testing and mobile TV services.
