Israeli mobile multimedia delivery firm Mobixell Networks has received an $8 million financing round. Intel Capital led the round, joined by existing shareholders, including Apax Partners, Comverse Investments, and TempoPark Fund.
Mobixell develops and markets network-based multimedia technologies and business solutions for mobile network operators, service providers and content aggregators. The company has over 70 commercial deployments worldwide, and customers include Vodafone, Swisscom Mobile and Telefonica Moviles.
