Interactive Avenues Releases Google’s Click To Play Video Ads

Google click-to-play platform has been launched in Indian market. Mumbai agency Interactive Avenues has introduced 30 second TV commercials for some of their clients like Worldspace, General Motors and HDFC Standard Life on a few Indian websites.
The TV Spot can be initiated by a click on the play button and it operates like a traditional video with fast forward, pause and replay. The user can choose to activate it, and further the user can click through the ad to go to the advertisers’ website.
The first set of ads has been released on sites like Agencyfaqs.com, Mouthshut.com, and Moneycontrol.com (I checked these sites and couldn’t find any, though. Maybe they are yet to be uploaded. The mock ads can be viewed here.)
In a press release issued by the agency, Ratish Nair, CEO, Interactive Avenues, said, “Video ads, while still a nascent segment, is growing faster than any other aspect of online marketing as per a recent report by eMarketer. eMarketer predicts that by the end of the decade, advertisers will spend around $2 billion on video ads online.-
