SanDisk V-Mate Records Video to Flash Media

SanDisk has launched V-Mate Video Memory Card Recorder, which will allow users to “record video to flash media from any conventional source, then watch it on phones, media players, game devices, and more”. It supports most memory stands (not compact flash) and can record up to 2.5 hours of video into each gigabyte of storage capacity, “compressing the video into MPEG-4 at up to 640 by 480 resolution”.
In other mobile TV hardware news, Samsung has released a 10-inch DMB mobile TV.
