Chinese company Sun TV Shop has signed a letter of intent to buy Irish-Japanese mobile gaming firm Upstart Games in a bid to expand its service worldwide. There’s still a fair bit to go, including the agreement of both boards of directors and due diligence. The deal is intended to “combine Upstart’s global mobile distribution network, product development team and localisation platform, with Sun TV Shop’s presence in China”.
