Mobile content retailer Jamster, owned by Verisign, has appointed Boris Hageney as the new VP of North America. He “will direct the company’s global efforts to increase adoption of Jamster’s mobile entertainment offerings and work with U.S. carriers, record labels and other content partners. Based in New York, he reports to Jamster COO Martin Ott.”
Hageney joined the Berlin-based company in April 2004 as Country Manager for Italy, where he launched and established its business operations. One year later, he assumed the Regional Manager role for Spain and Portugal and later took on the responsibility of managing all of Western Europe.
The company also plans to expand into Canada, and from a look at its website still seems to put a lot of emphasis on the Crazy Frog…
