About the Partnership Manager Opportunity:
Infospace is looking for a talented and passionate Partnership Manager to join our Mobile division. The Partnership Manager is accountable for business development, account development, and client relationships. The goal of the Partnership Manager is to drive product penetration and revenue in client engagements. Managing executive relationships and negotiating will be an everyday challenge in this position. The Partnership Manager will propose, manage and execute on partner contracts in order to achieve revenue and business goals and will be part of a matrixed team that manages key relationships.
Essential Job Duties
— Functions as the Business Lead and will own Partner Relationship Management including: Services, Deals, product launches, enhancements, Carrier revenue, deal pipeline and overall account execution.
— Responsible for up-selling new Infospace products and services to wireless carriers
— Responsible for Carrier customer satisfaction with Infospace services
— Work with Cross functional teams including Legal, Finance, Marketing, Product Management and Deployment to obtain Carrier buy in and sign-off as required.
— Partner Marketing Communications: work with corporate marketing to position InfoSpace offerings and value proposition with clients.
Required Skills, Education & Experience
— B.A. / B.S. in business or engineering. Master’s degree or MBA highly desired
— Minimum 3-5 years related business experience in a high tech industry (one or more of the following: Wireless, Mobile, OR Media & Entertainment)
— Proven ability to create and execute sales initiatives with large complex partner organizations coupled with the track record to deliver partner revenue target
— Proven ability in presentation and effective communication skills in formal and informal settings.
— Deep existing relationships in the Wireless and Mobile industry preferred.
— Demonstrate an expert level of proficiency in conflict and negotiation management.
— Proven ability to build and maintain executive relationships.
— Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic working environment and build excellent rapport with internal teams; strong teamwork is a must.
— Understanding of mobile technologies such as WAP, BREW, MMS OR SMS
