Now the race is between Bangalore and Pune on who would become the first wireless city. Anup K. Pujari, Principal Secretary to Government, IT, Karnataka, hoped that Bangalore could become the first city in the country to have wireless connectivity, reports The Hindu Business Line. Pune and Hyderabad are also in the process of setting up wi-fi networks to cover the whole city wireless.
