HP may be gaining points with me at this point in the warranty repair saga. DHL picked up the tc1100 yesterday at 3:30 pm my time and I received an email from HP today at 1:03 pm stating that the repair center reports that my tc1100 has been shipped from the repair depot. The additional notes section reports that the unit shipped at 11:44 from the HP repair center, which means that the repair took a maximum of 2 – 3 hours since they would not have received it from DHL until this morning. There is a tracking number that is not showing on the DHL web site yet but I am hoping it went out today. Pretty cool if this is accurate.
