Will Smith Signs $30-Million Film Deal With UTV Entertainment

Vibe.com: Hollywood actor Will Smith’s production company Overbrook Entertainment has signed a $30-million deal with Sony Pictures and UTV Entrtainment for co-producing movies. According to the deal, Overbrook and UTV will develop films that have a global reach and appeal. Sony will be the distributor. The first two projects of the deal will be a live-action film valued at $10 million and a CG animated motion picture at $20 million.
The deal is alos said to include a co-production agreement on Fox Searchlight’s forthcoming film I Think I Love My Wife, starring comedian Chris Rock.
