Today is day 3 of the process to get my HP tc1100 repaired under the warranty and so far it has been about what I expected. I made an error in the day 2 post by stating that it was UPS that I called to pick up the tc1100 in the special box. It was actually DHL that I called and I forgot to mention something strange about that call. The toll-free number that was indicated in the documents that HP shipped with the return box was a dead number. Actually, calling that number resulted in a recording thanking me for calling DHL Express and notifying me that the number had changed. All attempts to call the new number resulted in another recording informing me that DHL Express couldn’t answer the phone right now, please try again later. What a way to run a business, isn’t it? I ended up requesting a pickup online today, after many failed attempts to get through over the phone. Get your act together, DHL. No wonder FedEx is kicking your butt.
So the box was picked up today so now it’s time for HP to do their magic and get me my baby, back.
