BBC takes 20% Share of UK WAP Audience; Nigeria Big Internationally

So say the numbers from, who else, BBC. It has a 20% share of the total UK WAP audience, with 1.2 million users a month. Overall WAP usage was found to be growing 100% year-on-year. UK users account for 65% of the BBC’s WAP traffic.
According to July’s figures, Africa, especially Nigeria, was found to dominate the corporation’s international access to the BBC’s mobile internet service. Nigerian users accounted for 61% of the BBC’s international WAP traffic.
