Smarter Agent has convinced Sprint to offer its GPS-based real estate service (our post is here). The service can show you all the sales made in your vicinity (as indicated by GPS) or details of a specific address, complete with maps. Sprint charges $10 a month for its GPS data portal — Internet access, e-mail and photos — plus $4.99 for Smarter Agent. That’s a hefty sum, but if people are looking to buy a new house, and therefore spend several hundred thousand dollars, it could be worth paying that to help in the search for the perfect home.
