Amimon, a Herzliya, Israel-based company, has completed its second round of venture funding, giving the company an additional $14 million to use in becoming a major player in the wireless HDTV market. Boston’s Stata Venture Partners led the round, opening the door for Amimon’s semiconductors to help blend consumer wireless networks with HDTV by early 2007.
