JOB TITLE: Business Development Coordinator, Clear Channel Online Music & Radio
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
— Measure and report on the success of our online initiatives via our web, radio analytics and metrics tools
— Assist in the development of department reports, analyses and updates.
— Manage central repository and collect status of all business development activities including new deal inquiries, deals in-negotiation and closed deals
— Assist in project management of projects assigned to business development team
— Maintain database of competitive intelligence across digital media services including routinely conducting research on the features, functionality, business models and best practices on the Internet
— Assist in the development of new partnerships for the division
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
— Collect and synthesize data across the activities of the division to keep the business development group current and coordinated
— Assist in development of pitch presentations to potential partners
— Conduct competitive research/analysis
— Assist in management individual projects/initiatives
— Schedule and organize select meetings
— Ability to interface well with all departments and other employees of the company and to represent the members of the Senior Management Team in a highly professional manner, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
Minimum Education: Four years college degree
Minimum Experience: Entry-level position; a keen interest in media, the internet, music and radio is a must. The candidate should be looking to build a career in media and sees this role as a great way to start that career.
Requirements: A high degree of proficiency with MS Office products, especially Excel, as well as PowerPoint, Word, Access and Outlook; familiarity with the Internet including using it for searching, consuming media (audio and video) and browsing, both in a professional capacity and as a consumer.
Analytical/Interpersonal Skills: Excellent analytical capabilities with a strong facility with numbers; good presentation skills; organized; sets priorities; meets deadlines; able to multi-task; carefully proofs own work. Ensure customers, vendors and employees are handled in a professional and courteous manner. Strong quantitative ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various problems, and prioritize work. Candidate must have high degree of comfort in a changing environment.
