In some places of the world the key to the growth of carriers is the acquisition of new customers, but in other parts of the world (such as much of Europe, Australia, Singapore, the US) where mobile penetration is approaching or passed 100% carriers are keen to keep the customers they have — which is described as going from a “hunter” approach to a “farmer” approach.
